This cache was hidden for the Maryland Geocaching Society 2018 Summer Picnic.
When I hid the caches for the picnic, I thought back to the 2016 picnic at North Point State Park. Death Wish Dave hid caches that were so enticing. A tenth of mile, followed by a tenth of a mile, followed by a tenth of a mile, until we were as far away as we could get and then realized we needed to be back for the auctions and picture. This is a loop around the green trail. By finding all the caches, you will end up back at the picnic 
. Your terrain will vary depending on where you start from. If you do the loop, terrain will vary between 2 and 3.5.
This is a straightforward hide along the way to help get you around the loop.
There is an unactivated trackable for the FTF.
Parking is at the Deer Creek Picnic area at Susquehanna State Park. Entrance fees are collected on the honor system. The day use service charge for this area is: Daily $2 per vehicle; out-of-state residents $4 per vehicle.
Deer Creek Trail; - Blazed in green, the trail begins and ends at the Picnic Area. The Deer Creek Trail has magnificent views and giant trees. A moderate to difficult trail with a distance of 2.1 miles.
Seasonal hunting occurs in this area of the park. Please be aware and take all necessary precautions.
