Simply Paul: No sign of this when checked while I was in the area, ish. I can't be 100% sure it's not just fallen, but I couldn't spot it anywhere. Rather than replace it I've decided to archive this one. Sorry folks. I'll be back to check the ground in the winter when undergrowth has died back. [:(]

Geocache Description:


Set for the 2180 Winter Geolympix-a-Tron with the kind permission of The National Trust. It'll be 'fancy' on the day of the Mega so if you'd like to see it at its best - or if you intend to attempt The Letter/Box Challenge - you may wish to leave it until then.

A Puzzle-type Letterbox/Hybrid cache (please don't remove the ink pad or stamp; they're not swaps) - The cache is NOT at the given co-ords. You have to crack a puzzle or code first.

Method 1: Use some AANDs (Aluminium Alpha-Numeric Discs. There are around 4,000 in circulation) and go to:

N51° 4 [Aqua's C] . [Red's B] [Black's D] [Pink's G] '

W000° 3 [Forest's C] . [Blue's B] [Purple's F] [Bronze's A] '

Method 2: Solve this cache's twin (GC7R49R), and deduct 0.349 from the Northings and deduct 0.751 from the Westings to get the co-ords for this cache. Easy! This also works vice-versa, of course...

Method 3: Take the final digit of the year these mechanical creations made their public debut to calculate the final co-ords of this cache, using the following formula. There are larger versions in this cache's Gallery if you need a better look. Good luck!

A=(30+31)-(22-5)
B=1x((2+3+4+6+8+32+33+34+35+36)-(20+21+23+24))
C=(28+7)-(14+15)
