Our first hide. A historic occasion!! 😉 Traditional Cache

tjsdp: We checked this today and it has indeed got lost. So, sadly and reluctantly, I am finally archiving it. [:(] The cache keeps going walkabout. We replaced it in March and no-one found it before it went missing again, and we are just not able to visit the area so often any more to keep an eye on it.
Looking at the date, I was surprised to see that it is seven years to the day since we placed it, so maybe it is fate! Thank you to everyone who found it or has searched for it.

Geocache Description:


After finding around 2,500 caches, we have decided that it is probably time to try hiding one of our own. (But as this is our first attempt, please be gentle with us! ) 

We have chosen Banstead as it is a place we often visit. There is NO need to climb the tree to find the cache. Tweezers may be needed to extract the log.

Please replace exactly as found. Good luck!
