MacGyver is an action adventure television show. Educated as a scientist MacGyver is a resourceful secret agent able to solve a range of problems. He prefers non-violent conflict and refuses to carry a gun. To get himself and others out of trouble he has to draw on his scientific knowledge, resourceful use of objects, his handy swiss army knife and frequently a roll of duct tape. The orignal series ran from 1985 - 1992 and was filmed in British Columbia. The new series (2016 - present) is filmed in California.
The series of cache plays tribute to the show, the characters, and the actors. Angus is MacGyver's first name, though, it is not until the seventh season that fans learn his first name is Angus.
The magyver caches are all intended to be quite easy. Some minor off trail travel is needed (no more than 10 meters) but no bush whacking is required.
