MacGyver is an action adventure television show. Educated as a scientist MacGyver is a resourceful secret agent able to solve a range of problems. He prefers non-violent conflict and refuses to carry a gun. To get himself and others out of trouble he has to draw on his scientific knowledge, resourceful use of objects, his handy swiss army knife and frequently a roll of duct tape. The orignal series ran from 1985 - 1992 and was filmed in British Columbia. The new series (2016 - present) is filmed in California.

Macgyver didn't usually have a tool box but trying to find a swiss army knife would be difficult. This cache is full of supplies that Macgyver might use to get himself out of a difficult situation.
The caches are all intended to be quite easy. Some minor off trail travel might be needed (no more than 10 meters) but no bush whacking is required.
