Geocache Description:

Welcome to the Neilson House!

Built in the 1860's, this house was restored in 1998, and is currently used for the public. It can also be rented for meetings, and gatherings, and is fully accessible.

I remember visiting family who used to live close by, and this house once being a lonely house in a field, that was not the park it is today. Much of the surroundings have changed since then, as have a lot of areas...

Take your time to take in the beauty of this house from the past.
