As the title suggests this is one of a series of caches placed around the northern part of Castle Donington. There should be 30 caches on a walk measured at about 5.5 miles.
Some of the walk is similar to the previous series, but without the very muddy sections. I have retained the steep climb that so many of you enjoyed on the first series.
Magnets are involved in a lot, but not all of the series.
The caches are ‘hidden to be found’ as they say, no devilishly difficult ones, or high terrain ratings. If you prefer difficult hides, then try vegpunk's latest series.
There are also a few older caches on the route that can be found if you haven’t already got them.
There is parking available at several locations around the route. The Spittal car park is close to numbers 1 and 30. Note that it is only accessible from the West side.
#10 is close to a pub! #21 is outside a pub and there is another just down the hill from #26. Please park sensibly wherever you decide to start.
A lot of the caches will require tweezers or similar to remove the log and you will need to bring your own pen – you wouldn’t come out caching without one would you?
Enjoy.
