THE SERIES
This is a 2.5mile, figure 8 type of stroll around the pretty and historic village of Laleston. You could, of course, break it up into two 1 milers, or do them randomly, whatever suits your day. Due to the small size of the village, and quite a bit of interesting stuff to see, I've had to detour out into the countryside quite a bit, and still some things could not have their own cache. So I've written in the descriptions if there are other interesting things to see en-route. There's parking all around the village, especially near the church and post office, please park considerately and don't block any access. The route goes over farm fields, so some of the caches will not be available to wheelchairs or buggies, check the attributes.
THE CACHE
As you emerge from the kissing gate, watch out for passing cars, brush the shrubbery out of your hair and you are looking at your quarry. Cache is a camouflaged micro, pencil and FTF included, no room for anything else though, sorry. Please replace snugly as found and fluff up the undergrowth a bit so as not to leave it a dead giveaway to the hordes of muggle youths that come through here every day. The lady in the corner house is aware she has a cache for a neighbour and is cool with that, but as yet does not know where it is exactly. This cache used to be in the lovely gnarled old tree opposite and is another one of Minto500's generous contributions to my new series. The lady in the house saw me from her bedroom window with my head in the tree trunk one day and just had to come down and enquire what on earth I was doing. I never did find it as it had long gone by then, and not for the first time, so I have moved it slightly.
If you head North up the lane it will take you to another cache (Unatural - GC5QTV3) and then on to the final location for No8, the puzzle you so patiently solved. You need to pick up a flattish stone on your way, you'll see why when you get there.
