Likely the first Reverse Webcam in the world!
In which you the user is the webcam. (Too bad I didn't call the cache that.)
Also this is likely the 96th Augmented Reality Geocache in the World!
Posted coordinates are fake.
This geocache is not there. Although the posted coordinates will help you to learn about Dealey Plaza.
This cache is part of an experiment that allows the use of Augmented Reality (AR) apps to find the cache. At the end of this experiment, Geocaching HQ will decide if this cache will be grandfathered or archived. Geocaching HQ reserves the right to archive this cache at any time if conditions change. If you have found this cache and would like to give feedback on your experience, please fill out this survey.
The full Geocaching guidelines for this experiment can be found here.
Remember that AR is a new technology. As such it might not always work smoothly when viewing an AR experience. There also might be issues if multiple people are attempting to view the same AR experience. So be patient with the experience and have fun.
To solve this puzzle you will need the Metaverse App for your compatible device (pictured below). It works on both IOS devices and Android devices but has not been tested in other operating systems. Both versions are free and able to be used without an account.
Alert: While both apps are free to use without an account, you will have to download the app to be able to find this geocache. As the geocache owner, I ensure that this app is safe to download. It has not been checked by Geocaching HQ or by the reviewer. Download this app at your own risk from your preferred app store.
Metaverse - AR Browser
Once you have the app downloaded, click explore, and then follow this link or scan this QR code.

This is a simple AR cache that uses a webcam cache as a throw back to the grandfathered Webcam caches types. This cache could be described as a reverse webcam cache in which you carry the camera. Depending on how you respond, you will be able to view the live webcam, geocaching details, or even take picture. Good Luck and have fun. You might even learn something.
The puzzle is completely solvable in the Augmented Reality environment and can be completed anywhere in the world. Completing the questions in AR will reveal the GPS coordinates and does not need a coordinate checker. The cache itself is a magnetic hide-a-key hidden somewhere in Dallas. Bring your own pen.
Be careful since the area always seems to be busy with people and has lots traffic nearby.
Do not post a picture solution since that will give it away. Feel free to include other pictures.
In case you are curious, this area is where history happened. On November 22, 1963 John F. Kennedy was assassinated while riding in his limo. Dallas and the nation was in shock. Over that weekend and the following weeks, the culprit was captured and JFK’s story was told in newspapers all over the world. Dallas suffered from this negative moment in history. But they maintain this whole area with plaques, markers, pictures, and with fountains to ensure that the people do not forget and ensure that it will not happen again. This area has numerous historic markers, and museums so you can hear the stories of the past and even add your own.
It also has a bunch of geocaches! This specific one is different. Unfortunately, Webcam caches are pretty rare since Geocaching has removed the option of creating a webcam cache. Hence the AR which makes this just a normal and easy puzzle cache. Since Dallas does not seem to have any webcam caches, I thought this would be an excellent area for a similar type of cache. The famous Sixth Floor Museum and Earth Cam partnered together to place a webcam over looking the street. This is the view from the window from which an assassin fired the shots that killed President John F. Kennedy and severely wounded Texas Governor John Connally as the presidential motorcade drove through Dealey Plaza on November 22, 1963.
The live Webcam feed can be viewed in both the AR environment and here.
Again the entire puzzle is solvable in the AR environment. But you still must sign the log to claim the find. No exceptions, and no excuses. Blank logs may be deleted without notice. Avoid the use of acronym only logs online.
Also, I made a very simple filter for any pictures taken. Check out the photo gallery of images from the AR experience here.
Congrats Paintballvet18 for the First to Find.
