The Location:-
Welcome to Ceannabeinne beach! This is a spectacular place and there is a zipline over the beach.
The sea is crystal clear here and the sands are beautiful, throughout my visit I did keep thinking to myself "am i really still in the UK"?
There is a small car park available above the beach along with a small lay-by. You can cross the road (very carefully as it is a fast road) and take the steps down to the beach. This is a great camping spot! We fired up the barbecue on arrival and it was then that we realised that this is definitely a place for a geocache!
The Cache:-
Follow your GPS down the steps and then take a detour to your right towards the bridge where you will see a small waterfall. This small water feature is hidden from the road and was a nice surprise for us when we visited, hence the cache name.
You are looking for a camo tube container. The cache is a micro therefore there is no room for swaps. Please BYOP. Approach the waterfall and look for the over-hanging rock (as seen in the photo). From here you can use the hint to find the cache.
This beach can be busy, so stealth may be required for this one!
THE CACHE IS NOT HIDDEN ACROSS THE WATERFALL. PLEASE DO NOT CROSS THE WATERFALL.
PLEASE REPLACE THE CACHE AS FOUND.
