Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Mystery Cache

runner5ive: It is with great regret that I am archiving the Harry Potter series.


Being a CO is a great responsibility. I was willing to take on that responsibility, but I have since taken on other responsibilities. I won’t be archiving ALL my caches, I have chosen the Harry Potter series to archive for now.



It started off with the Philosopher’s Stone, then I had a puzzle idea and place for Order of the Phoenix, and I was very happy with those two. After that, I rushed the rest out to create a series. I’ve always felt that I could have done better with more time and patience and dedication.

They don’t get found much any more, so I think they’ve run their course. I seem to be doing more maintenance on them than they are getting logged.

Additionally, the author of the eponymous books does not instil me with much pride any more.

Now Harry Potter is in his final year of school. After the death of Dumbledore, Harry and his friends need to find and destroy the remaining four Horcruxes that hold Voldemort's soul, however they have no idea where they are. Zenophilius Lovegood is seen wearing a strange symbol, that Hermione also finds in a book that Dumbledore had left her. Could this be the symbol of the Deathly Hallows? An elder wand, a resurrection stone and an invisibility cloak are the three objects represented by the Deathly Hallows symbol. Although Ron and Hermione believe the objects are part of a fairy tale, Harry believes they are real and sets out to retrieve them. Now Harry must find the final Horcrux while the school battles the forces of Voldemort.



The cache is hidden within a triangle, much like the symbol of the Deathly Hallows. You can find the triangle by solving the puzzle below. At GZ, the cache will be found under a Horsecrux, at the top of a spring. The cache is a mint tin with magnets. As always, please use stealth.
