Brosjögården ligger i Ydrefors. Det unika med Ydrefors, rent geografiskt, är att orten delas mellan två landskap, tre kommuner och tre socknar. Landskapen är Småland och Östergötland med kommunerna Vimmerby, Kinda och Ydre. Därmed skiftas Ydrefors upp i socknarna Tidersrum, Södra Vi och Svinhult.
Brosjögården har byggts upp gemensamt av Ydreforsborna med ekonomiska bidrag från många andra, både enskilda och från kommunerna.
Samhällsföreningen bildades 1990. Den nedlagda skolan var till salu men ansågs för dyr varför föreningen beslöt att bygga en samlingslokal framme vid Brosjön. Efterhand har stugor för uthyrning byggts till och omfattar nu sex stugor.
Landshövding Björn Eriksson invigde lokalen den 20 juli 2002. Den fick då sitt namn efter en röstningstävling. Lokalen finns till uthyrning för enskilda och föreningar.

Brosjögården was jointly by Ydreforsborna with financial contributions from many others, both individuals and from the municipalities.
The society was founded in 1990. The school was for sale but was considered too expensive, so the association decided to build a gathering room near Brosjön. After that, cottages for rent have been built and now comprise a total of six cottages.
The governor of the region Björn Eriksson opened the premises on July 20, 2002. The Brosjögården name given after a voting competition. The premises are available for rent for individuals and associations.
