Just follow these instructions to the cache
This is just a set of instructions. Yes! I know you think that's simple. So it is. You like, or even love, puzzle caches. You like easy puzzles, that's why you are attempting to do this one. Well, I say "puzzle" but it isn't really. It's just a set of instructions and you can follow those can't you? Easy-peasy! After all, you read the descriptions on all caches before attempting them, don't you? So all you have to do is follow these instructions and the end result will be the way to the cache, won't it? Okay then, that's enough of my waffle. I'll leave you to get on with it.
The cache is not at the given coordinates but if you follow the instructions carefully then the final coordinates will appear on the paper in front of you as if you have performed a magic trick.
******* HAVE YOU READ ALL THE INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE STARTING? ********
YOU MUST INTERPRET THEM CORRECTLY TO GET THE RIGHT ANSWER.
On an A4 sheet, print I CAN FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS (UPPER CASE is best). I suggest you print it with a character per column. You will need at least 1 row per instruction.
NB a letter means a letter and a number means a number and a character means any character and/or space.
Write the numbers 1-25 above each letter or space ie I=1, space=2, C=3, A=4. etc. and continue the sequence for any extra columns required.
Insert a J at the beginning and after every 5th character thereafter
Draw a box around each middle character in the above blocks of 5
Insert a 7 in the fourth position from the end so that it becomes the 5th
Remove the first two spaces
Move the 9th letter so that it becomes the second letter from the beginning
Remove every vowel unless it has a box around it.
Put an X at the beginning, in the exact centre and at the end
Insert a 0 after the third consonant and as the third last character
Insert the vowels in order once. Each one after every 3rd letter.
Replace every L with an S
Substitute the letters A to E with corresponding numbers 1 to 5 in reverse order
Swap around the fourth letter with the 16th character
Remove any boxes around letters
Change all Os and Is to 0s and 1s respectively
Halve the sum of the first three numbers and replace the third number with the result
Exchange the positions of the 5th and 6th characters and the 6th and 7th characters
Remove the 2nd character then every 6th character from there
Exchange the 1st and 8th characters and repeat in mirror form at the end of the sequence
Locate the 13th to 20th characters, then rearrange them within their own group as follows:
a insert a space in the exact centre of the group
b change any 0 in the group to its next logical number
c any N in the group becomes the sum of its digits +1, where A=1, B=2 etc
d 4th and 5th characters in the group change places and the 17th character becomes a 2
The 20th character becomes same as the 9th character in the full selection
Remove any remaining spaces
Take out the first and last characters (Hint:positions 1 and 27)
Exchange any X for a $
Exchange the first and last R for a blank space.
Insert a copy of the 1st and 2nd numbers reversed, to after the 3rd number, so that the 4th number becomes the 6th
Change any S to a six
Remove any Ts and Cs, then remove any remaining boxes
Put a space before the first letter. Keep the relative position of that space throughout this exercise
Transpose the positions of the third letter with the first number
Move the 10th character so that it becomes the 5th
Select the 13th to last character and manipulate as instructed below:
a remove the 7th to 10th characters in this set
b change the last letter in the group to a 0
c swap the positions of the 3rd and 11th character in this group
d change the first number to be the same as the 3rd character
e convert the last two characters to spaces
Remove the remaining $ and the 2 characters after it
Place a dot after the 5th and 15th characters
Move the 21st character to lie between the characters in positions 3 and 4
Finally move the last character to between the consecutive numbers 1 and 2
Hint: You should now have the final coordinates, finishing with 22 characters and the sum of the digits is 47, average 3.133~
