Geocache Description:

One of a few caches beside local roads,(this road locally known as the Briggle as it crosses Briggle Beck)  to make those I placed on footpaths and bridleways into a circular walk of around 3.5 miles.

You can start anywhere and go in either direction, but parking will be easiest in the village of Renwick.  (warning – no shops, no pubs, no cafes – nearest facilities will be in Kirkoswald)

No parking places have been specified but if you are very careful and very quick, you may be able to treat this cache as a park and grab.

Please be aware that although this is a narrow single track road it is used frequently by relatively fast moving tractors, farm vehicles and local cars.  Please take care.

All the local roads are lined with trees so placing the caches has given me the chance to improve my tree identification skills. This cache is near an Ash.
