Geocache Description:

Number 1116 in a series of caches where a red telephone box is in close proximity to a post box. The only rules are that they have to be able to be photographed together, be not more than 100’ apart and the phone boxes have to be red. The " A Fine Pair " series gave Victoria and I the idea of setting a cache locally. There were one or two possible locations. However soon after launch on our chosen location one of the pair - the Telephone Box, like the TARDIS had suddenly disappeared. BT had removed it ! So, undaunted we have made a further attempt to set up another one in the series. Hopefully, there are no plans to remove this pair in fact they are in ship-shape condition. The coordinates will lead you to the green on Simmondley a busy little focus of routes serving the motorists as they content themselves buzzing about their daily routine. As you know Victoria and Albert were the ancestors of the monarch whose insignia appears on the post box. Recently in a great show of splendid royalty one of the grandsons Harry married Meghan in Windsor - a Fine Pair they made. In homage Victoria and I would like to dedicate this cache to them.

You will have to do some research beforehand to get the final.
The wedding car had these numbers on the plate . = ABCDEF
On their wedding day how many page boys were there ? = G
How many bridesmaids were there ? = H
How many horses pulled the open top carriage carrying Harry and Meghan ? = J

The final is at N 53° 26.(D-J)(F+E)(F-C) W 1° 58. E (B+G-H) (G+A+E)

Parking near the cache is particularly risky due to the narrow roads and speed of traffic. Consider parking on quieter roads nearby making your way on foot taking care of approaching traffic. Keep dogs and children close by.

CONGRATULATIONS. FTF BACKINBLACK1 v CORONASV ?? ⚽ Penalty shootout ??⚽

The Fine Pair series was originally started by wizardsmum but is now managed by mattd2k If anybody would like to place 'A Fine Pair' of their own please do. I would just ask that you first visit www.afinepair.co.uk to request a number to avoid any duplication mattd2k also keeps a public Bookmark List of this series.
