This is No 6 in a series of 7 caches in a walk taking you along the Crumlin arm of The Monmouthshire and Brecon Canal. This series of caches has been created to get my Father-in-Law out and about within his local area. The cache can be found as part of the Evans Above series or on its own as an individual cache.
The cache is close to the canal bank - the canal path is easily accessible to walkers, bikers, pushchairs and wheel chair users (although some help may be required retrieving the cache).
The canal is popular with muggles for lots of activities so stealth will be required to retrieve the cache.
You will need your own pen, and tweezers may come in handy for logging this cache.
Free parking is available near the first cache (see waymarked point), and if you want to complete the whole series and don’t fancy the walk back, you can jump on the 151 bus at Risca Spar, which will take you back to near the first cache.
Permission for this cache kindly given by the Monmouthshire, Brecon & Abergavenny Canals Trust.
