Geocache Description:

Traditional cache with log book and swag. Limestone Cemetery is reported to be the oldest cemetery in Kankakee County. The cemetery is the final resting place of some of Kankakee County earliest settlers — dating all the way to 1835. It also is the final resting place for veterans of the War of 1812, the Civil War, World War I and II, the Korean War and the Vietnam War. Please be respectful and allow these good souls to continue to rest in peace.
