Geocache Description:


This is just a simple meet-and-great, primed for a mid-summer's reunion of the local cachers! Timing will be 4pm-5:30pm, or however late we want to stay. In keeping with the theme of snow in Florida, you might want to haul along a jacket (yes, I said jacket: those thingys we Floridians wear if the temperature drops below 70!) for the group photo--but that's by no means required. If you're travelling in the area, the location is easily accessible from I-4 via the Polk Parkway, so we'd love to see you there! Come on out and enjoy the fun!

This is now the 3rd annual meet-and-greet for Polk County geocachers (and of course our neighbors too!)! Come on out, say hi, cool off, and meet some fellow cachers! Be sure to bring those travel bugs for discovery too, along with the kiddos--this is definitely a kid-friendly location! There's even rumors of a small raffle at 5pm...and extra entries might even be had if you bring a geocaching-related item to add to the prizes! We'll have a couple tables off to the side (just for us), and the show will go on, rain or shine thanks to an awning available. In other words, come on out y'all!

General Schedule:
4:00pm - Gather and chat!
5:00pm - Group photo (in jackets, etc.)
5:05pm - Raffle Begins
5:30pm - Keep hanging out as long as we want!
