Eddington is a new district located 2 km northwest of the city centre of Cambridge. As well as providing accommodation for University students, it is also filled with beautiful flowers and open grassy areas. The Eddington Explorers geocache series is a set of 8 fun geocaches suitable for all ages. To complete the whole set on foot is a walk or cycle of about 5 km.
Please be very careful when looking for this cache. We have lost and replaced numerous containers, probably due to people who don't know about geocaching spotting others searching. It is in a very busy and overlooked area. We have moved it to a slightly different location to help but discretion is required and you may need to wait for other people to move before getting to the cache. Please replace it very carefully so it doesn't get knocked, but is still visible for the next geocacher.
This is the first in the series, and is a challenging find. It is accessed by a public foot path and the geocache is easily accessible 24/7. It is wheelchair or pushchair accessible. The geocache is in a busy square with lots of people around, so please look out, and we hope that you enjoy it. If it's busy please come back later so others don't spot it.
