A quiet cache at the near the summit of High Pike (one of my favourite places) and the high point of the Cumbria Way long distance footpath (658m). On a good day, there are magnificient views all around. This Geocache was placed with the kind permission of the ‘Lake District National Park authority’. The container unscrews to open.
I am a massive rock music fan and aim to give clues to each of my caches with reference to one of my favourite bands: Bon Jovi are an American rock band formed in 1983, led by singer and namesake Jon Bon Jovi. Their style has matured over the years but during the eighties they were seen as the epitome of ‘Hair Metal’. The band has sold more than 100 million records worldwide and performed more than 2,700 concerts in over 50 countries for more than 34 million fans.
One of Bon Jovi’s better known songs is ‘Living on a Prayer’, from which the following lyrics come:
Wooah
We’re half way there
Woah-oh
Living on a prayer
Which were the names I gave to the four geocaches in this Bon Jovi mini-series (mainly due to the second line)! This series is now down to 3 caches, with Bon Jovi 2 being archived. Find the first and the third caches and note down the co-ordinates inside those containers in order to find the fourth (puzzle cache).
Collect co-ordinates E and F for the ‘Bon Jovi 4 – Living On a Prayer’ (the puzzle geocache) at this cache.
