orient124: The container that I had there was allowing water/moisture in and thus damaging the log. I went to replace the container yesterday and dropped the new container down between the stacked flat rocks and slate. The only way to get to it would be to take the small wall apart, but I did not do that. The container is on a welcome sign display and I could see an overly ambitious pulling the wall apart. It's a nice sign and I do not want to be responsible for it getting damaged.
