This is another steep path that goes from the Back Beach road in Port Chalmers to the streets at the top, but here the road is named Victory Place, after the ship the Victory that arrive 8 July 1848. Fox Street at the top was named after William Fox the agent for the New Zealand Company, the streets here were laid out before Port Chalmers was settled. You are looking for a black pill bottle, bring your own pen. It is right by the path, you don't need to go near the fence, but the view from there is great. Please leave it covered in leaves.
