Let me tell you about my Momma & Daddy. Also known to all the grandkids and great grands as Nana & Papaw. They moved to Victoria in the 1940s. Momma was a homemaker and Daddy worked in the oilfield and later in oilfield supporting industries. He like fishing and hunting. My momma like bowling and bridge. Anyway, they built a beautiful life and a beautiful family and I miss and think about them every day. This is my first cache to hide and I wanted to honor my parents, especially my Momma because if we had known about geocaching while she was alive, I'm sure she would have joined the many adventures I now share with my daughter Chaosinmotion. And her trail name would have been Nana!
This cache is hidden in Memory Gardens and closed after dark. If the gates are closed on the highway side (weekends), you can enter over at the Memory Gardens Funeral Home and drive around back. If services are being held, please be respectful. You shouldn't have to be too stealthy, just look like you are saying hello to the Brittons. You might need a TOTT to roll the log. Bring a pen. No room for swag on this one.
