This is a fun short walk and grab with a good view of Slide Ridge. Slide Ridge was formed by the Great North Cascade Earthquake that occurred in 1872. The epicenter was believed to be near Slide Ridge. Earthquake Point, north of Entiat, was part of the same earthquake. When searching for this cache, please park at the switchback parking area (just off pavement) and walk the road/single track path. There is no turn around at the end of the road and fire danger in the summer is high in this area. The cache is a medium sized Lock-n-lock.
