This cache is part of an experiment that allows the use of Augmented Reality (AR) apps to find the cache. At the end of this experiment, Geocaching HQ will decide if this cache will be grandfathered or archived. Geocaching HQ reserves the right to archive this cache at any time if conditions change. This AR experience is location based. You will need to go to the published coordinates to run and complete the AR "experience" It will only allow you to start the AR within +/- 100ft of these coordinates.
Go to the posted coords. It is in Tony Canale Park, open sunrise to 11PM. Please adhere to these hours. To find the cache you will need to use Metaverse (for iOS and Android) it's a free app that I found to be really user friendly and can be downloaded for free on your smartphone. Once the app is installed and opened, type in the search box @ExitStage_Left and select that name. Next, select the Geocaching icon, then click on the Smiley icon. Remember, if you are not at the published coordinates you will not be able to start the AR. As required by Groundspeak, you will still need a GPS capable device (GPS, Phone) to find the cache and sign the log!
This AR experience is a field puzzle. You will need to figure out the right combination of words to unlock the final coordinates, hence the higher Difficulty rating. The Terrain rating is high too as you will see when you reach the final location. No climbing involved but the cache is out of reach, unless you play for the Sixers. I suggest you bring something to help you retrieve the container. The container is out in plain sight. At times, there will be plenty of muggles watching you. If you are able to retrieve the container, then you are able to put the container back in the same manner. If you are unable to do so, put it back as best as you can then send me a message and I will come out and put it back properly. Enjoy and good luck!!!
