This cache replaces one archived by HackiB in January 2016. We are hoping that the renovations have provided a better hiding place.
We hope that HackiB does not mind us using his original narrative.
‘To the east of Polis lie Limni Mines. The site is very old dating back to Roman times.
The modern workings, post-1946, produced mainly Copper concentrate and iron Pyrites. In 1978 production was halted due to falling copper prices.
The jetty from where the copper ore was shipped out is still in place, but has recently been renovated.’
The cache contains only a logbook so please bring your own pen.
Update 5/12/19....we have relocated this cache yet again....if it disappears this time we will admit defeat and archive it.
