Geocache Description:

This cache is situated at a pegasus crossing. I don't think there are that many of this kind of crossing around. It is basically a pelican crossing redesigned to accommodate horses and their riders. It has two press button boxes instead of the usual one. The first is set at the normal height for the use of pedestrians and dismounted riders whilst the second button box is set up at two metres off the ground for use by mounted riders. The red and green illuminated people icons are instead replaced by horse icons. According to Wiki these crossings are primarily used in Britain and Peru of all places! This road is a busy one, so please take care and be aware of traffic.
