Please note the previous cache of this name was disabled due to it being trickier to find which seemed to upset a lot of people, and feedback from some was that it was too overlooked. This replacement cache is further than the maximum distance to simply update the coordinates and we have also changed the container type to make it simpler, but should still provide enough of a challenge but of a different kind!!
Welcome to one of the main entry points to Stepps if you were travelling from Lenzie, Kirkintilloch or Auchinloch. Your journey from this road would have taken you through some beautiful fields and farms, beside a golf course and under a motorway! This is the original part of Stepps that has some beautiful houses and streets. Folow Lenzie road round to the right and then left and you will pass the Bowling Club and Tennis courts before joining the main street.
Follow the road to up and to the left from this cache and you will eventually come to the Garfield House Hotel - as you do, dont forget to stop to notice the reference point for a little known point of interest.
This cache accessable on the pavement, not on any properties, beware motor muggles passing by and bring your own tweezers.
