Ballydonarea Pure Mile
This popular walk leads from Kilcoole village to the Sea using a farm lane and rural footpath, then returns to Kilcoole via Sea Road. The walk can be extended by walking part of the coastal path toward Greystones or Newcastle. -Source kilcoole.ie
Directions
From The Village:
You will see the Pure Mile and Ballydonarea loop walk sign from lott lane, take the road towards the beach. The road will eventually turn into a gravel path, follow this path till you reach a gate. go through the gate and two more kissing gates and walk untill you reach a green bridge.
From The Beach
Walk towards the end of the car park and follow the blue arrow along the road to the left. Continue following the blue arrows and walk across a wooden footbridge, follow the path through the forest to a second green bridge.
The Cache
The cache is a micro mint container containing a logbook and pencil only.
