Geocache Description:

A small and hopefully easy multi to add to the loop walk around Bellamont Forest.

The sculpture is of a flaxman -  ‘The Cootehill Harvester’ by the artist Tony Stallard. The project was organised by the Cootehill Building Peace through the Arts steering committee and funded by The Arts Council Northern Ireland.

Tony based his public sculpture around the theme ‘The Woven Fabric of our Community: People, Heritage and Diversity in Cootehill’ which reflects Cootehill’s unique history as an important linen centre and how this trade led to the rapid development of the town attracting people from diverse backgrounds. The sculpture is a bronze piece representing a working harvester.

To find the cache work out a few numbers.

A: The number of bulbs in the recessed light in the path.

B: The number of bricks, width wise, on the path

C: The number of bunches of flax

D: The number of fanlight sections over the black door, behind you, on the little gatehouse.

The cache can be found at:

N54 0(D+1).0 ((B-D)-2) C    W007 04.A (A/C) C

The signal is very jumpy at GZ – check the hint and the spoiler pic.
