This is a challenge cache, and the cache is hidden at the posted coordinates.
I love to travel, and one of my long term goals in geocaching is to find a cache in every state in the USA. So far, I have finds in 42 states, and I plan to pick up two more states later this summer.
I wanted to create a challenge cache that encouraged others to find caches in as many states as possible. But I realize that finding caches in all 50 states is a lot to ask, and that most people will never reach that goal. So I have decided to create a cache to recognize people who have reached the halfway point, so having found caches in 25 of the 50 U.S. States.
To complete this challenge, you must have logged a find in 25 different U.S. states (note: The District of Columbia is not counted as a “state” in this challenge).
There are no date or cache type restrictions for this challenge. The difficulty rating of this cache is based solely on completing the challenge. You must complete the challenge before creating a Found log on this cache. If you have not completed the requirements, but you locate the cache container and sign the log, you can create a Write Note log. Once you meet the challenge, you can log the cache as Found. If you log a Found but have not completed the challenge, the log will be removed. Remember to bring a writing implement to the sign the log.
