Metaverse App
This puzzle cache uses the "Metaverse" augmented reality app to solve the puzzle. Metaverse uses, what can best be described as a series of story boards they call an "Experience", to guide the user through the game. To find this cache, follow these general instructions:
- Download the Metaverse app for IPhone or Android
- Create a free account.
- Go to the posted coordinates
- Use the app on the QR code supplied below or in the gallery to access the Experience
- Then follow instructions and answer the questions to find the cache
Use of the Metaverse Experience "AR_FHSU Quad" is required to solve this puzzle. Access to the experience is provided by scanning the provided QR Code with the QR code reader in the Metaverse app. Click Here to view the QR Code on-line or scan the QR Code found in the gallery. You may want to print off the QR code to have with you during your search (it is highly suggested).
Cache Details
The hunt for this cache will walk you through the Fort Hays State Quad. You must either physically be "boots on the ground" in the Fort Hays State University Quad area, or know a lot about FHSU (or where to google it) to solve this puzzle. The final coordinates are only revealed by solving the experience.
Note: If I can figure out the geo-fences or proximity restrictions, they may be added in the future to help require "boots on the ground".
PARKING:
Be warned: Stalls not marked as "Visitor" may require a parking permit. Permits are enforced in this area M-F during business hours. Be safe, park in the visitor parking unless you are searching for this cache in the evening or on the weekend. There are many caches on the FHSU campus and many things to see. If you are going to be visiting other attractions on the campus on a weekday during regular business hours, get a free visitor's permit from the University Police. Here is a link to the FHSU-PD with a lot of information!
Congratulations to hartsdale for the FTF!
