Las coordenadas te llevan hasta allí y tú llegas tarde para variar. Perfecto para una entrevista de trabajo. Empiezas buscar en distintas ubicaciones, primero por proximidad; luego, por lógica. No hay nadie en la calle y, sin embargo, te sientes vigilado. Miras a tu alrededor. Y, de repente, allí está:
¡LA VIEJA DEL VISILLO!
Empiezas a disimular. Paseas hacia la derecha... sus ojos giran a la derecha. Caminas hacia la izquierda... sus ojos giran a la izquierda. Te paras, y ella te mira. Te quedas mirándola descaradamente; y ella, lentamente, te sostiene la mirada y se coloca bien las gafas, para mirarte mejor. Estas a punto de sacarte el DNI y pegártelo en la frente, pero, como tienes más vergüenza que ella, te contienes.
Y ya, cuando ves que ella abre la puerta y sale a la calle, haciéndote cara, sin quitarte mirada... decides preguntar:
- Disculpe, la empresa "Redconf" ¿se encuentra en este bloque?
- Por supuesto -responde la anciana con una sonrisa de medio lado- ponte aquí a la derecha y dame un poco de luz que no veo bien, ya sabes la edad... La empresa se encuentra en el piso 6. ¡No espera, en el 4! Aunque creo que se mudaron al 1... No lo sé joven, mi memoria, ya sabes...
Y en estas desaparece más rápido de lo que esperabas dejándote una cara que es un poema...¿dónde se habrá metido esta mujer?¿Y qué hago yo ahora?
