If your math is correct the second lock will unlock.
When I was younger I loved to create houses using playing cards.
Now that I am older I enjoy making creative caches.
So I decided to put the past together with the present to bring this cache to you all.
You will be able to spot the birdhouse that holds this cache with ease.
The birdhouse is locked with a combination lock. The combination to the lock is 481.
Once you have unlocked and opened the birdhouse you will find the House of Cards which holds a small lock and lock container.
You will also notice that you will not be able to access the lock and lock without unlocking the combination lock on it.
The combination to the lock on the House of Cards is the total value of all the cards minus 10.
Face cards such as King, Queen and Jack’s values are 10, while an Ace’s value is 1. All number cards are their respective value.
If the house were to be made up of an Ace (1), Jack (10), seven (7) and a ten (10) the total value would be 28. 28 -10 = 18. That would make the combination to the lock 018.
The combination lock on the House of Cards is a larger combination lock.
Once you have the numbers entered correctly under the lines pull down on the lock.
To relock the combination lock push the shackle back into the lock it, scramble the numbers and you’re done.
Please replace the House of Cards as you found it. Also be sure to relock the birdhouse and scramble it’s numbers as well.
