THE GEOCACHE IS NOT HIDDEN AT THE ABOVE COORDINATES. YOU MUST SOLVE FOR THE FINAL COORDINATES BY ANSWERING THE QUESTION BELOW.
Welcome to my battleship series. This should be a fairly easy series to complete. Almost all of the caches should be fairly winter friendly and easy grabs. Bring tweezers as the containers are only large enough for the logs and may be difficult to get out.
There is a final cache for this series at GC7R79C. To solve for the coordinates for the final you must play the popular children's board game battleship. The game board is below. You are looking for 3 ships within the game board. The 3 ships are the BATTLESHIP (4 HITS), the SUBMARINE (3 HITS), and the DESTROYER (3 HITS). Each ship hit will have information on the outside of the tube to lead you to the final. If the end of the tube is white, you have missed. If the end of the tube is red, you have a hit! Look for the information about one of the letters below on the outside of the tube. The final cache can be found at N 40 QR.STU W 078 VW.XYZ.
Now onto this cache. My game board only has 3 ships but how many ships are in a normal game of battleship?
If the answer is 7 the cache can be found at N 40° 58.308′ W 78° 24.307′
If the answer is 5 the cache can be found at N 40° 58.528′ W 78° 27.581′
