The Botanical Garden is a beautiful, serene place, situated in the campus of Oranim Academic College of Education .
The Botanical Garden is 40 dunam in size, and contains 900 different plants, almost all wild and indigenous to Israel. It is used for teaching, research, and environmental preservation. The garden is ecologically designed, and each section represents a geographic area or unique habitat in Israel.
The garden contains two unique paths:
1. The Poetry Path –a special trail with quotes from world-renowned poets displayed on signs integrated into the landscape. more on bit.ly/Poetry_Path (in Hebrew)
2.The Bio-mimetic Path – nine active stations, located near plants and/or animals, giving visitors the opportunity to stop, observe, get inspired by nature’s beauty, and learn about sustainable solutions to everyday human problems. more on bit.ly/Biomimetic_Path (in Hebrew)
The cache is a small plastic box, hidden on one of the Bio-mimetic path stations
The garden is open free for visitors 24/7, through the campus gate. Recommended at day time.
