This cache shows you the "Pino de Santo Domingo", it is one of the most beautiful examples of Canary pine (Pinus Canariensis) that exist in La Palma.
The cache is on the trail Gr 130 and not so far away from the volcano route (GR 131). It is also a nice small rest area at this place.
It is possible to drive with the car on a small paved track to the Pino de Santo Domingo.
If you use the parking place 02, you can make a short hike to the pine and to the cache. The overall length of the hike to the pine and back is approximately 3 kilometers.

Dieser Cache führt euch zum "Pino de Santo Domingo", es ist eine der schönsten Exemplare einer kanarischen Kiefer (Pinus Canariensis), die auf La Palma existieren.
Der Cache befindet sich am Wanderweg GR 130 und ist auch nicht so weit entfernt von der Vulkan Route (GR 131).
An dieser Stelle ist auch ein Picknickplatz vorhanden.
Es ist möglich mit dem Auto auf einem schmalen asphaltierten Weg bis an die Kiefer zu fahren.
Wenn der Parkplatz 02 benutzt wird, kann man eine kleine Wanderung zur Kiefer und zum Cache unternehmen. Die Strecke zur Kiefer, zum Cache und zurück beträgt dann ungefähr 3 Kilometer.
