Ok, not yet an alley but will be soon. As a result, the place can be busy with builders at certain times, so use caution. Also closer to a main road than my usual hides, so keep track of geokids. The Shepshed Alleycat Series was inspired by my receiving a fitness tracker at Christmas. Due to the dark nights I found myself wandering the streets of Shepshed to reach my steps goal, discovering a number of these alleyways along the way. Most of the time the only other living things I saw were cats, hence the name. Some are true alleys (aka ginnels, passages, vennels, jittys and 100's of other dialect names), others rough footpaths behind houses, which can be muddy. All are away from traffic and most fairly secluded. There is a proper car park at the location given in #1, but most are close to on street parking.
