Här är en gammal torpgrund som går att anas. Vegetationen runt området visar tydligt på att här bott människor tidigare, några gamla äppleträd och rester av buskar är ett tydligt exempel.
Torpet Kronobacken nämns första gången i husförhörslängden 1812. Hit kom mellan 1807  och 1812 änkan Maria Svensdotter. 1834 till 1868 bodde Petter Johansson här och efter honom Johannes Svensson. Efter hans död 1880 bodde hans änka Agneta Andersdotter kvar ännu till 1898.
