The Memorial Park Šubićevac is a public park dedicated to the events that occured from 1941 to 1943. It was the place where Italian fascists carried out the shootings of antifascists and patriots. One of the victims was also Rade Končar who was posthumously named the first People's Hero of Yugoslavia and was revered as a war hero. The Park was officially opened in 1962, and the authors of the monument in the park are Kosta Angeli Radovani and architect Zdenko Kolacio.
The given coordinates will get you to the entrance. Here (facing the main monument), you'll be able to see a group of walled human figures waiting for the shooting to occur on your right. Next to the figures there's a sculpture of a flaunting flag with the motif of a five-pointed star.
The central motif in the park was built in 1961. The monument is a pure form that is characterized by its strong volume and the sharp fractures of light on the cut edges of the mass. Kosta Angeli Radovani built it with the image of a human figure. however in a pure geometric scheme. On your way to it, you will notice three memorial stones along the path, where alongside several verses, there are the names of some of the victims. Behind the monument, you will also see a row of concrete columns which were used to hang the victims before the shooting.
Today, the park is mostly visited by dog-walkers and history enthusiasts. It serves as a reminder of all the people who fought to create a safe future for the next generation.

Spomen-park Šubićevac je memorijalni park u Šubićevcu, predjelu grada Šibenika, gdje su talijanski fašisti od 1941. do 1943. godine vršili strijeljanja mnogih rodoljuba i antifašista. Jedna od žrtava strijeljanja bio je i Rade Končar koji je nakon smrti ubrzo postao jedan od simbola partizanskog pokreta i potom socijalističkog režima koji je iz njega proizašao. Spomen-park je svečano otvoren 1962. godine na dvadesetu godišnjicu strijeljanja Rade Končara i još 25 drugih antifašista. Autori spomenika unutar parka su kipar Kosta Angeli Radovani i arhitekt Zdenko Kolacio.
Zadane koordinate dovest će vas do ulaza u park. Ovdje (ako pogled usmjerite prema glavnom spomeniku), moći ćete vidjeti skupinu ljudskih figura postrojenih uza zid, u prizoru i stavu čekanja na strijeljanje. Pokraj figura stoji vijoreća zastava s motivom petokrake zvijezde.
Središnji motiv unutar parka je spomenik Radi Končaru i drugovima. Podignut je 1961. godine. Kosta Angeli Radovani je spomenik ostvario u obliku kristaličnog stupa s predodžbom ljudske figure, ali u čistoj geometrijskoj shematici. Spomenik je čista pročišćena forma što djeluje snagom volumena i oštrim lomovima svjetla na rezanim bridovima mase. Na putu do središnjeg spomenika, uz stazu se nalaze tri spomen-kamena na kojima su uz prigodne stihove ispisana i imena više grupa strijeljanih.
Iza spomenika nalazi se red betonskih stupova za koje su fašisti vezivali svoje žrtve i zatim ih strijeljali.
Danas, park je najčešće posjećen od strane šetaća pasa i povijesnim entuzijastima. Služi kao podsjetnik svih ljudi koji su se borili kako bi stvorili sigurniju budućnost idućoj generaciji.
