Geocache Description:


DO NOT CROSS OR WALK ON THE RAILWAY LINES!!! THE CACHE IS NOT ABOVE THE RAILWAY LINES. IF THERE IS WATER UNDER THE BRIDGE CROSS THE WATER OR GO TO THE OTHER SIDE OF THE WATER AND BE CAREFUL OF THE BRAMBLES... If you time this right you may need a new pair of undies:-) You DO NOT NEED TO CROSS THE RAILWAY LINE OR GO OVER THE RAILWAY LINE. The cache is under the bridge. You will need to scramble up the rocks to the underneath of the bridge near the top. Please be VERY careful as there are lots and lots of loose stones and rocks. There is parking close to the cache, you will need to cross the little river which is full of rocks, OR water which will require some swimming or wading unless you have a floatation device…. OR you can get it from the other side of the river without getting wet… DO NOT CROSS OVER THE TRACKS!! Trains travel at about 160km/hr in this section…. When it rains the water flows into the Bostock Dam and when the dam fills, the water is released and heads down to Geelong. This is a 4 rating on Difficulty as when there is water under the bridge you will need to cross the water either swimming or with a flotation device to get you to the other side, or take your chances with the blackberries... it is also slippery on the small rocks trying to walk up to it under the bridge!! I repeat NO walking on the tracks of the railway line, trains come at 160kmph along this section of the railway line!!! Joint FTF Honours goes to Neville_devil, Sims_family and AusFox.
