En: We found this amazing abandoned monastery during one our trips on Lefkada island.
This monastery of st. George is considered to be the most remarkable architectural complex on Lefkada island. It is built at the foot of the Skara forest, near Kolivata village. It is one of the oldest and most historic monasteries on the island and was one of the richest. It was founded in 1611 AD.

The cache is hidden, next to the monastery near the trail next the one. Is easy to reach by car except several last metres. It is a small click-lock plastic box with log book and pen. Is big enough for usually big trackables. t is NOT necessary to go inside monastery or anything to disassemble.

Cz: objevili jsme tento úžasný, opuštěný klášter během jednoho našeho výletu po ostrově Lefkada. Tento klášter sv. Jiří je považován za nejvýznamnější architektonický komplex na ostrově Lefkada. Je postaven na úpatí lesa Skara, v blízkosti vesnice Kolivata. Je to jeden z nejstarších a historicky nejvýznamnějších klášterů na ostrově a patřil mezi nejbohatší. Byl založen v roce 1611 N.L.

Cache je skryta, mimo klášter, poblíž stezky vedle něho. Je snadné se dostat autem až na několik posledních metrů. Je to malá plastová click-lock krabka s logbookem a perem. Je dost velká pro TB obvyklé velikosti. NENÍ nutné vstupovat do areálu kláštera, nebo cokoliv rozebírat.
