Geocache Description:


This bush reserve above Port Chalmers was named Rangi Park in the late 1930s. This Lookout is a short walk up form the carpark at the Scott memorial but it is has quite steep bits. There is a picnic table and you can see up the harbour from here but because the trees have grown up you have to walk more along the track to see a view of Port Chalmers. If you look uphill across the farmland there is a big rock, this is called Leans Rock after Richard and James Lean who farmed there. You are looking for a pill bottle, bring your own pen.
