This trail is on a dismantled railway line. The path is gravelled and is a short section of the "Ruby Way" - part of the National Cycle Network, along the trackbed of the former railway which opened in 2005, linking Holsworthy with Bude and Halwill.[7] .
I personally don't find it as scenic as the other Ruby Way trail. in the other direction but it is still peaceful and flat
