Welcome to the village of Lofthouse. While outside the National Park Boundary this village is classed as a conservation village. There are 2 memorials within the village, the Village hall is one of the buildings from Scar House from during the reservoirs construction. The river Nidd also runs alongside the village and has nice waterfalls and pools which many locals and visitors alike enjoy. I moved to this village some years ago from the city lured by its local caves and fantastic rights of way. I hope you enjoy looking around the caches locally too. I hope the title is a sufficient hint as to where this may be found Happy Hunting!
