Unfortunately, this cache disappeared again, and since my wife's parents are leaving the village of Katzer and I will no longer come to maintain caches here, I decided to move the cache to the archive.

The cache was hidden 6 years ago and since then only 9 players have found it and there has been 1 recent DNF. And I strengthened the cache once.

After 15 years of going up to the harvest several times a month, this is the end of an era...

I have one more cache in the harvest that is currently in place and I will try to keep it

Geocache Description:

Katzir is a settlement on Mount Amir in the northern Samaria Mountains. Over Wadi Ara

Katzir is 350 meters above sea level. The sunsets are amazing, enjoy them.

Katzir was established in May 1982 on Jewish Agency land, as a community settlement whose residents are incorporated in a cooperative society. The settlement was part of the Iron Plan to establish Jewish settlements on both sides of the Green Line between the Iron Valley and Jenin, and constituted the southernmost settlement of the Mitzpeim program in the Galilee. The settlement was established by the Farmers' Union in the area known as the Western Hill. The settlement included caravan-style homes, which still exist in the Artists' Colony in the eastern part of the settlement. Its residents were mainly academics who worked outside the locality and sought to live in a rural area

My second treasure in Katzir is on the side of the settlement. I came for a walk with Krembo before sunset.
Pay attention to the spring and summer there are spikes, come up with long pants and shoes.
