As an incentive to encourage walkers to the High Peak town of New Mills we have decided to create a short (two miles) circular walk with six non-Premium geocaches around and about its course. You can start/finish at either New Mills Central railway station, New Mills Newtown railway station or the Heritage Centre behind the bus station. This is one of two more caches (Welcome to New Mills 7 and Welcome to New Mills 8) that are also quite close to the centre of the town but not part of the circular walk.
This cache is between High Lea Park and the New Mills Community Orchard, close to a concessionary path between High Lea Road and Hague Bar Road.
