Who knew there were so many numbers in this sport? I thought they just had one and nil. But this is a team sport and you need a full XI to win, and both of the top two players of the last decade have again failed to will their squads to the top of the sport. Ignore the numbers on the cards and find the number that is important to each player. Then, you will have the freedom to hit this trail and find the cache.
Special Notes about the 2018 Puzzle Challenge: To be considered for Fastest Solver points, you must verify your solution with Certitude. Finders will receive Top Finder points when submitting Found It logs to the cache page. All "point" scoring is arbitrary, subject to change, at the discretion of the cache owner, and probably completely meaningless (unless you just want to be announced sooner at the celebration party, if there even is a celebration party). The real challenge is to see whether I will have enough time to create a puzzle each month this year! To maintain fairness, hints should not be offered by the cache owner or other solvers until the fifteenth of the month.
Special Notes about this month's cache: Another cache inspired by current events. There is lots of poison oak along this trail; so I suggest staying on the trail until you see a poison-oak-free way to get to the cache. March 2022: Cache was replaced in a new spot so that you no longer have to leave the trail, and the Certitude hint has been updated.
