The bulldogs play baseball, but as sports go this was my first love, so a break from the baseball theme for the best sport ever played Hockey. Go Dogs, "We're #1"
NCAA hockey is a funny sport where the best team does not always win and that was the case in 1985 in the overtime loss to bowling green in the National Championship. As well as, in the semifinal game loss in 2004 to the inter-conferance rival Denver Pioneers. Thankfully they were finally able to finish off a win in a championship game against Michigan in 2011 and again against Notre Dame in 2018!!!!
