This cache is near a pull-out which can be accessed via Hwy 39 to Mackenzie approximately 7kms from Mackenzie Junction or 23km from Mackenzie. It is best accessed on your drive leaving town, when you can safely make a right turn off of the hwy! There is a Forest Demonstration Trail about 1/2 km further down the road! It takes a short loop through the forest should you decide to do a little exploring (less than 1/2 hour).
The cache is a micro attached to a "friend". Bring a pencil. You will not have to go more than a few metres into the forest to find the cache. Snow could be deep in the winter, but the cache is accessible on skis and on foot.
